Public procurement refers to contracts entered into for consideration with public or private entities to meet the local authority’s needs for supplies, services and works. They are governed by the provisions of the Public Procurement Code (Decree No. 975-2006 of 1 August 2006).
Any purchase made is now considered a public procurement contract and must comply with the fundamental principles of transparency and competitive tendering, the form of which varies depending on the value of the purchase or the nature of the transaction.
The Lourdes Tourist Office, a public industrial and commercial establishment (EPIC), has chosen to make available to businesses all public notices relating to ongoing tenders in which they may participate by collecting the tender documents from the public procurement department.
