Yes. The town centre is easy to explore on foot, and several tourist attractions can be reached by public transport or seasonal shuttle buses. For certain excursions in the Pyrenees, public transport options are also available, depending on the time of year.

How can we protect natural areas whilst out walking?

Stay on the marked trails, take your rubbish away with you, respect the flora and fauna, close gates behind you and avoid picking plants. These simple actions help to preserve the landscapes and biodiversity of the Pyrenees.

Where can you buy local produce in Lourdes?

Les Halles de Lourdes, the weekly markets, local producers and numerous shops offer visitors the chance to discover the specialities of the Pyrenees and to support the region’s traditional crafts.

Buying directly from local producers, craftspeople or shopkeepers helps to support the local economy and allows you to discover authentic products, often the result of skills passed down through several generations.

The Lourdes Tourist Office is committed to making itself accessible so that it can welcome you as warmly as possible and ensure that everyone receives the information they need.
All our reception staff are trained to assist people with disabilities, so you’ll be able to access the information you need to explore Lourdes in the best possible conditions.
Brochures and specialised equipment, such as a hearing amplifier, display stands and a Wi-Fi area, are available to ensure a high-quality service that meets all your needs.
The Lourdes Tourist Office has held the ‘Tourisme et Handicap’ accreditation for all four categories of disability – hearing, intellectual, mobility and visual – since December 2022.

It is situated 200 metres from the entrance to the Tourist Office.
Accessible public toilets are located nearby.
