Situated in the city centre, the Covered Market of Lourdes is a perfect example of the Metallic architecture of the end of the XIXth Century with its origins in the market called “Marché de la Pierre” in Toulouse.
The Covered Market offers a large range of regional products. Livy colours and scents are melted with the keys of the Pyrenees accent.
Lourdes is also a rendezvous with gastronomy. Savour the regional cheeses, the cook meats of the Bigorre Black Pork, the fresh fruits and vegetables from local producers, honeys, marmalades and also the traditional pastries like the famous gateau à la broche (gateau on a spit in front of a fire). This culinary experience will delight your taste buds
