to get around in Lourdes

Five bus routes make it easy to get around town.
Convenient, economical and eco-friendlier than going by car, Lourdes’ public transport service enables you to make the most of our town’s sites and various places of interest.
Go to Lourdes Lake, pay a visit to the Sanctuary, reach the Pic du Jer or plan your transfer to the station or airport… You can do all that on an urban bus!

    Route 1 crosses Lourdes from north to south between the Pic du Jer and the Monge business park. Route 2 serves Lourdes Lake and the western part of the town in particular. Route 3 goes out towards Bagnères. Routes 4 and 5 will take you to the Sanctuary.

    Bear in mind that these routes also serve the town centre and SNCF station, and there are connections between routes.

    Airport bus

    A shuttle bus is available between Tarbes Lourdes Pyrénées Airport and the town of Lourdes. With your luggage in the hold, it will only take you a few minutes to reach the Marian town.

    Bear in mind that the shuttle also serves the SNCF station and Avenue du Paradis (near the Sanctuary).

    Bus tickets

    Tickets can be purchased individually from the drivers for occasional journeys.
    They cost €1 each and can be used on a connecting service within the hour. At Lourdes Tourist Office you can also buy season tickets and books of 10 tickets, for hassle-free travel.
