Marian torchlight processions

Light is also a sign in Lourdes. The candles, of course. From April to October, the Marian torchlight procession takes place every evening at 9:00 pm.

If you come to Lourdes, you have to do the marital procession with torches. Since the Apparitions, the crowds have gone to the Grotto with torches, responding to the Virgin Mary’s invitation to “come here in procession.”
