Marian torchlight processions

Light is also a sign in Lourdes. The candles, of course. From April to October, the Marian torchlight procession takes place every evening at 9:00 pm.

If you come to Lourdes, you have to do the marital procession with torches. Since the Apparitions, the crowds have gone to the Grotto with torches, responding to the Virgin Mary’s invitation to “come here in procession.”

During this procession, there is a fervor, an impetus that comes from this ocean of light, from the presence of people from all over the world, who pray to Mary in different languages. You also have to experience it yourself. The statue of Our Lady of Lourdes is carried in procession through the Sanctuary: each one asks him to look after his family and his loved ones.

Join this tide of light. Take a candle, too, sing the Ave Maria, in front of the Basilica of the Rosary, illuminated and illuminated for the occasion.
