The Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes has been celebrating the first apparition on February 11, 1858 for 166 years.

February 11 is the anniversary of the first apparition of the Virgin to Bernadette Soubirous at the Massabielle Grotto.
For 166 years, many pilgrims and visitors have gathered each year in the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes around celebrations.

Some highlights of the program:

> February 9
- 10 a.m. - at the Grotto: mass presided over by Mgr Jean-Marc Micas

> February 10:
- 8:30 p.m.: Marian torchlight procession

> February 11:
- 8 a.m.: Lauds at the Basilica of the Rosary with the chaplains of the Sanctuary
- 10 a.m.: international mass at the basilica of Saint Pius X, presided over by H.E. Cardinal François Bustillo
- 12 p.m.: Angelus at the Grotto and evocation of the Apparition
- 12 p.m.: Rosary in Ukrainian
- 1 p.m.: Rosary in Portuguese
- 1:30 p.m. Rosary in Arabic
- 2 p.m.: Rosary in Polish
- 2:30 p.m. Rosary in German
- 3 p.m.: Rosary in English
- 3:30 p.m. - at the Grotto: rosary in French
- 4:15 p.m.: Rosary in Spanish
- 4:15 p.m. Conference by Father Jean-Marcel Rossini: “Coming here in procession”
- 5 p.m.: Eucharistic procession and blessing of the sick at the basilica of Saint-Pius
- 6 p.m.: Rosary in Italian
- 8:30 p.m.: Torchlight procession

As in the universal Church, Lourdes also celebrates this day, the World Day of the Sick. Catholics around the world pray in unison at Lourdes.
