Pic du Jer Bike Park

At an altitude of 1,000 metres, this peak overlooking the Marian town is a popular spot for downhill mountain biking. The Pic du Jer is equipped with a funicular and offers mountain bikers 3 downhill trails, ranging from an introductory trail to the most committing and technical one.

Competition site

 

The site has already hosted 4 World Cups and was voted “Best UCI MTB World Cup Event” in 2015. The DH trail: Competitors take on the 2,000-metre linear track with a 477-metre elevation loss, accessible by funicular. The Pic du Jer trail is known for being one of the toughest on the circuit. It is very comprehensive: physically and technically demanding, and committing at the same time.

Information

 

The funicular takes mountain bikers to the Pic du Jer every 30 minutes. The site offers half-day and day passes.
A helmet must be worn.

The following equipment is strongly recommended:
Back protectors, elbow pads, shin/knee guards
Gloves strongly recommended

Little extras:

  • Water jet available for cleaning your mountain bike
  • Repair station (Allen keys, pump…)
